Meralco Bolts import, Allen Durham joins Staying MAJOR for its 45th episode.  Allen is on his 3rd tour of duty in the PBA, where he is coming off of a 2016 PBA Governor's Cup Finals appearance.  Despite losing the crown in 6 games, Durham was awarded the Best Import Award for his dominating performance in the 2016 PBA Governor's Cup.  Starring at small Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Allen was a 3-time All-American and 3x MVP of the National Tournament, winning 3 National Championships.  He is Grace Bible College's all-time leader in points and rebounds.  Since then, Allen has played professionally in Romania, Finland, Israel, France, Uruguay, the NBA D-League and the Philippines.

Multiple world record holder and competitive eating world champion, Takeru Kobayashi joins the 44th episode of Staying MAJOR.  Kobayashi rose to fame in the early 2000s by winning the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest 6 times.  He has gone on to hold 8 world records in competitive eating.  Kobayashi has appeared in commercials for ESPN, MasterCard & Coors Light, as well as many television appearances.  He continues to compete in numerous food challenges every year, still dominating the competition.  Kobayashi is in town for the History Con Manila 2017, where he will attempt to break two world records at the convention.  You can follow this Japanese legend on Twitter @FReeKobi0704 & Instagram at @kobayashitakeru

Canadian professional dunker "Mission Impossible" Jordan Kilganon joins the 43rd episode of Staying MAJOR.  Jordan has been featured on TNT's The Dunk King, ESPN.com, NBA.com, & Rolling Stone Magazine amongst many others.  Kilganon has also dunked at the NBA All-Star weekend.  Jordan has many well-known dunks including, the "Scorpion dunk" & the "Lost and Found dunk".  As one of the most famous dunkers in the world, Jordan is in town for His-Con Manila 2017.  A 4-day convention at the World Trade Center Manila that is hosted by the History Channel and A&E Network.  Jordan will be performing his wide array of dunks Saturday, August 12th & Sunday, August 13th at the convention.

Barangay Ginebra point guard, "The General" LA Tenorio joins the 42nd episode of Staying MAJOR.  LA is one of the greatest point guards to ever play in the PBA.  He is a 7x PBA All-Star, a Best Player of the Conference awardee, as well as a 2x PBA Finals MVP.  LA has also had success at the international level playing a key role in the Gilas Pilipinas national basketball team program from 2012-'14, winning the Jones Cup in 2012, while bagging MVP honors.  LA currently plays for the country's most popular PBA team, the Barangay Ginebra Kings.  They are currently 3-1 in the 2017 PBA Governor's Cup.

"The Daredevil" Jared Dillinger joins the 41st episode of Staying MAJOR.  Jared is a Filipino-American who played his college basketball at Division I University of Hawaii.  He was the 2nd pick in the 2008 PBA Draft.  Selected by the Talk-N-Text franchise, Jared helped Talk-N-Text win 5 PBA titles in 5 years before he was traded to the Meralco Bolts.  Dillinger is now one of the leaders of the up-and-coming Meralco franchise.  He continues to be a force at both ends of the court as Meralco searches for its first PBA title in franchise history.

Meralco Bolts head coach, Norman Black joins Staying MAJOR for its 40th episode.  Coach Norman came to fame in the 1980's where he was arguably the greatest import the PBA has ever seen.  Black holds several PBA import records including, career points, career rebounds, rebounding average and games played.  His scoring average of 40ppg ranks 5th all time among PBA imports.  Norman eventually became a coach where he has continued to have success.  Winning a rare grand slam title in 1989 with the San Miguel, Norman has led teams to 8 PBA titles.  He also led the Ateneo Blue Eagles to 5 UAAP titles in 8 seasons.  Successful as both a player and coach with different teams and at different levels of play, Norman Black is a true legend of Philippine basketball.  He has had a tremendous influence on the game that Filipino's love over almost 4 decades.

In this episode, Coach Black discusses his journey in the Philippines.  Him and host Eric Menk, reflect on Norman's incredible experiences.  Norman also discusses his current team, the Meralco Bolts before answering social media questions from fans.  The Meralco Bolts are currently competing in the PBA's Governor's Cup.

"The Phenom" Kiefer Ravena joins the 39th episode of Staying MAJOR.  Fresh off of a victory over Japan in the Jones Cup, Kiefer joins host, Eric Menk in a hotel room in Taipei to discuss his basketball career.  "The Phenom" talks about what has gotten him to this point in his young career, while also hinting in what direction he wants to take his career from here.

Phoenix Fuelmasters & Gilas Pilipinas sharp-shooter, Matthew Wright Joins Staying MAJOR for its 38th episode.  After his 3rd game of the 2017 Jones Cup, Matthew Wright talks about his Gilas teammates and what motivates him to be the best player he can be.

The legendary Filipino shooter, "The Triggerman" Allan Caidic joins the 34th episode of Staying MAJOR.  Allan is known as one of the best shooters Asia has ever seen.  Twice he was named to the Asian Games Mythical Five team.  He had such legendary performances such as the 34 points all in the 2nd half to lead the Philippines past Japan in the 1990 Asian Games.  79 points in 2 and a half quarters of a PBA Game where he hit 17 three point shots. 68 points and 15 three's in a game.  48 points in a Finals game.  76 consecutive free throws made going without a miss from October 22, 1992, to May 11, 1993!  His feats are stuff of legend.  We were honored to have this legendary, iconic figure in Philippine basketball history to join Staying MAJOR.

The "Cool Cat" Mike Cortez joins the 33rd episode of Staying MAJOR.  Mike starred for the Green Archers of De La Salle in his UAAP days, where he led DLSU to 2 championships and where he was named to the UAAP Mythical Five team twice.  Mike played so well he was selected #1 overall in the star-studded 2003 PBA Draft.  Despite suffering multiple knee surgeries, Cortez has been a PBA All-Star, a member of the PBA Mythical team & is a 3x PBA Champion. Mike is a 14-year PBA veteran where he continues to play valuable minutes for GlobalPort BatangPier at the age of 36.

In the 27th installment of Staying MAJOR, Ray Parks Jr. joins host, Eric Menk.  Ray is the son of PBA 7-time Best Import awardee, the late, Bobby Parks.  Ray Parks attended National University and was a two-time UAAP MVP.  Despite not yet playing in the PBA, Parks has extensive experience playing in different leagues and tournaments all around the globe.  He has been MVP of the PBA D-League, MVP of the SEABA  tournament & recently MVP of the Asean Basketball League (ABL).  Ray has also played on an NBA Summer League team as well as the NBA D-League.  Parks continues to pursue his dream of getting noticed by NBA teams in the United States, in hopes of playing in the NBA.
