The PBA's Rain or Shine Elasto Painters sweet shooting lefty, Jeffrei Chan joins the 35th episode of Staying MAJOR. Jeff came to fame while helping FEU win two UAAP championships in the mid-2000's. Despite being a Mythical Team member in the UAAP, Jeff was taken late in the 2nd round of the 2008 PBA Draft. Chan used this snub to add fuel to his fire and since has become one of the most consistent wing players in the PBA over the last decade. He has been a PBA All-Star 5x, as well as being named the PBA Finals MVP in 2012. Jeffrei has also represented the Philippines in international competition on multiple occasions, including the 2012 Jones Cup, the 2013 FIBA-Asia tournament, as well as the 2014 FIBA World Cup.
In this episode, Chan discusses his career. Some of his highlights include playing for Coach Yeng Guiao, being a part of the largely successful Rain or Shine franchise, as well as his contributions to the Gilas Pilipinas program. Jeff takes Twitter questions and then discusses what the future might hold for him. Jeff continues to be one of the top wing players in the PBA. He is currently preparing to compete in the upcoming PBA Governor's Cup with his longtime team, Rain or Shine. You can follow Jeffrei on Twitter and Instagram at @jeffreichan
